By switching to the Auto mode in the app, The app will automatically change from Day Mode to Night mode depending upon the time of the day.

Whatsapp dark mode is in beta mode. We are working on it and you can use the feature as soon as it is rolled out.

Dark mode app will not work on all android devices as some publishers have disabled overriding this feature from their devices. Please check for an inbuilt Dark theme on your device if it doesn’t work. All the features of Instagram can’t be accessed in Dark mode web mode. You can only scroll your feed.
